Andrew Gebhardt

Board Member

Andrew was born in Riverdale, Georgia and graduated from Riverdale High School. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from The University of Georgia in 1996, and earned his Juris Doctor degree from the Georgia State University College of Law in 2005. He was a stockbroker for SunTrust Investments, Inc. from 1998-2005, where he held his series 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses. During his last year of school, Andrew clerked in the Office of the District Attorney for the Rockdale Judicial Circuit.

Prior to becoming a manager with Smith, Welch, Webb & White, LLC, he worked for the firm of Smith, Welch & Brittain, LLP, from 2005 until May 2011, and had become a partner of Smith Welch & Brittain, LLP, in January 2011.  Andrew’s areas of practice include personal injury, catastrophic injury claims, wrongful death claims, auto accidents, tractor trailer litigation, premises liability, insurance coverage disputes, and criminal defense. He has argued cases before the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia and the Georgia Court of Appeals.  Andrew is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Henry County Bar Association where he currently presides as President.

Andrew and his wife Allison live in McDonough with their two sons, Drew and Will.
